Weapon Swap: Freedom's Hand vs Reaper Chainsword
Canis Rex's signature loadout pairs Freedom's Hand — his named thermal cannon — with a reaper chainsword for melee. Magnetizing both arms means you can field him with the thermal cannon for ranged anti-tank work, then swap to the chainsword arm when you charge into combat. The Questoris no-drill kit magnetizes both shoulder joints and the weapon mounts, so the swap is clean and the polarity is consistent. You can also slot in any other Questoris arm option later if you want to convert him to a different Knight chassis.
Extra Head
The baseline kit comes with one head sprue. If you want to magnetize a second head option so you can swap faceplates and crests, grab one of these per additional head.

Base Magnets
Canis Rex sits on a 170×105mm oval base. Use 6mm x 2mm N52 disc magnets to magnetize it. With a sturdy sheet metal magnetic miniature case, two magnets per base are enough to lock the model in place during transport. If you're lining the case with self-adhesive flexible magnet sheet instead, plan for 5–6 disc magnets per Knight to get a confident hold across the larger 170×105mm footprint.
