Doom Scythe & Night Scythe Magnetization Kit

The Doom Scythe and Night Scythe come from one plastic kit, and the only real difference is the weapon slung under the hull. A few magnets let you swap between the two builds instead of committing the airframe to a single role.

What it magnetizes

• Underside weapon mount: swap between the Doom Scythe death ray and the Night Scythe transport portal
• Weapon-to-hull power cables: each weapon lines up on magnets so it seats the same way every time
• Hull hard point: the central mount holds the weapon on a magnet joint

In the kit

N52 neodymium disc magnets sized for each step in the guide:
4 pcs 3 x 1mm
2 pcs 4mm
2 pcs 5mm
1 pc 6mm.
N52 is the strongest commercial rare earth grade, so the weapon stays put in play and on the shelf but still pops off when you want to change loadouts.

You will need

Super glue, a Large Pin Vise with 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm drill bits, and a needle file or coarse sandpaper. A Magnicator keeps polarity straight so a flipped magnet does not cure in the wrong way round.

Bases and flight stand

The model sits on a 120mm oval flying base. For the base magnet we recommend the Large Thick Flush-Fit 6mm x 2.6mm: one magnet if you carry the base separately, two if the model rides on its stand on the base. For a no-drill option, use 3 of the 25mm Peel and Stick Inner Base Magnets set in a triangle inside the base. An Extra Large Posable or Large Flat Tall flight stand holds the model upright.
