Crimson Hunter Magnetization Recommendations

The Aeldari Crimson Hunter is a sleek grav-tank fighter that screams across the battlefield hunting flyers and monsters with twin bright lances. The plastic kit is a dual-build, so a single sprue can also assemble the Hemlock Wraithfighter — meaning your magnetization choices on the flight stand and base carry over to either profile.

Flight Stands for the Crimson Hunter

You can use either a posable or flat flight stand on your Crimson Hunter. Posable stands let you angle the model into a banking pose, while flat stands keep it level and parade-ready.

The Extra Large Posable is the posable option for this model. Anything smaller does not have the holding power to keep the Crimson Hunter upright at an angle.

For a flat flight stand, the Large Flat – Tall is the right pairing for the Crimson Hunter.

Basing Magnets

For a basing magnet, use the Large Thick Flush-Fit Base Magnets, 6mm x 2.6mm. Use 1 magnet if you transport the base separately, or 2 if you transport the model on the flight stand on the base.

If you would like a base with holes preset for magnets so the magnets can never pop out, use the 120mm oval base with magnet.

For a peel-and-stick basing option, use 3 of the 25mm Peel & Stick Inner Base Magnets spaced in a triangle inside the base — no drilling required.

Crimson Hunter and Hemlock Wraithfighter — One Kit, Two Builds

The Crimson Hunter sprue also builds the Hemlock Wraithfighter, a psychic variant armed with heavy d-scythes and a spiritseer pilot. If you want one kit to cover both datasheets, magnetizing the cockpit canopy and the underwing weapons lets you swap between Crimson Hunter (bright lances, starcannon, pulse laser) and Hemlock Wraithfighter (twin heavy d-scythes) without committing to a single profile. The flight stand and base recommendations above apply to either build.
