Recommended
Tiny magnetic needle cups for cross stitch, embroidery, and sewing — each pack contains 5 mini cup-shaped magnets that hold needles, pins, and small metal tools standing upright inside the cup. The strong magnetic base sticks to any ferromagnetic surface (sewing machine body, metal hoop, magnetic needlework board) or pairs with a separate disc magnet on the back of fabric to work as a cross stitch needle minder.
Two Ways to Use
- On a magnetic needlework board — stick the cup to a magnetic chart holder, steel needlework board, sewing machine body, scissor caddy, or any metal surface. The base holds the cup in place while needles slot into the well.
- As a needle minder on fabric — place a separate 6mm x 3mm disc magnet on the back of your hoop or aida fabric. The cup snaps to it through the fabric and gives you a tiny upright needle holder right on the project.
Specs
- Outer diameter: ~6mm
- Inner cup diameter: ~3mm
- Cylindrical cup glued to a strong magnetic base
- Holds fine needles, beading needles, sharps, pins, and small metal markers
- 5 cups per pack
Perfect For
- Cross stitch needle minder — keep your needle exactly where you left it on the hoop
- Magnetic needle case alternative — open-top so you can grab a needle one-handed
- Magnetic pin holder — sits on your sewing machine or magnetic needlework board
- Embroidery needle minder — works on Aida, evenweave, and linen with a back magnet
- Beading & jewelry making — corrals tiny beading needles that get lost on a bench
- Quilting & sewing kits — magnetic to any tin or metal kit lid
Note on Use as a Needle Minder
Because the cup itself is the front piece, you'll need a second magnet on the back of your fabric to use it as a true needle minder. A 6mm x 3mm neodymium disc is the ideal pair — same diameter as the cup base, strong enough to hold through Aida and evenweave. The base of the cup attracts to the back magnet through the fabric and stays put while you stitch.
