The Piranha's nose mounts either a twin-linked burst cannon for anti-infantry fire or a fusion blaster for tank-hunting work. Both barrels share the same mounting point under the chin, which makes a single magnet pair the cleanest swap on the kit. Use 3mm x 1mm disc magnets at the join. Drill a shallow well into the hull mount, glue one magnet flush, then mirror the polarity into each weapon stub so both options seat the same way.
The two gun drones perch on small posts above the rear hull. Magnetize the drone-to-post connection with 2mm x 1mm disc magnets so you can lift the drones off for tabletop play once they peel away as their own unit, and reattach them for transport. The same 2mm x 1mm magnets handle each drone's twin pulse carbines if you want to swap drone weapons later.
For drilling, work slowly with a pin vise. The Piranha's plastic is thin around the nose mount, so step up bit sizes gradually rather than punching straight to 3mm. Test the polarity twice before any glue touches the part.
