Combat Patrol Genestealer Cults Magnetization Recommendations

What’s in the Genestealer Cults Combat Patrol

The Genestealer Cults Combat Patrol is the 10th-edition Warhammer 40,000 starter army for the cult insurrectionists. Seventeen miniatures including a vehicle and a pre-built Combat Patrol roster.

• 1x Jackal Alphus — 32mm round base
• 1x Achilles Ridgerunner — large vehicle with hardpoint weapons
• 5x Atalan Jackals — 60×35mm oval bases
• 10x Hybrid Metamorphs / Acolyte Hybrids (dual-build) — 32mm round bases

Jackal Alphus

The Jackal Alphus is a single-pose character with a sniper rifle. No weapon swaps. Base magnetization only.

Achilles Ridgerunner

The Ridgerunner kit builds a single light vehicle with three weapon hardpoint options — heavy mining laser, missile launcher, or heavy mortar at the main mount, plus optional pintle weapons. Magnetize the main hardpoint with 5mm x 2mm disc magnets so you can swap the loadout per list.

Atalan Jackals

The Atalan Jackal kit builds five bike riders with autopistols and grenade launchers, including options for the Wolfquad and special-weapon riders (mining laser, demo charges). Magnetize the special-weapon shoulders with 3mm x 2mm disc magnets.

Hybrid Metamorphs / Acolyte Hybrids

The kit is a dual-build — assemble as Metamorphs (mutated melee specialists with claws, talons, whips) or Acolyte Hybrids (rending claws with rock saw, drill, cutter, demo charge specialists). Magnetize wrists with 3mm x 2mm disc magnets so the same 10 models can run as either unit, and individual specialists can swap their heavy equipment.

3mm magnets fit a 3mm drill bit hole. The Large Pin Vise covers 0.5mm to 8mm bits.

Base Magnets

The Combat Patrol uses 32mm and 60×35 oval bases.

32mm — Jackal Alphus, Hybrid Metamorphs / Acolyte Hybrids

60×35mm oval — Atalan Jackals

Movement Trays

The Hybrid squad and Atalan Jackal pack each run as units.

10-Man Straight Formation (32mm) — Hybrid Metamorphs / Acolyte Hybrids

10-Man Cloud Formation (32mm) — Hybrid Metamorphs / Acolyte Hybrids

5-Man Oval Formation (60×35mm) — Atalan Jackals

Character & Wargear Tab Trays

The Jackal Alphus attaches to the Atalan Jackal or Hybrid squad in most Combat Patrol lists.

Drill Bits, Glues & Polarity Tools

The Hybrid dual-build and the Ridgerunner hardpoint are the highest-value magnetization points in the box.

Drill bits. Medium metric bundle covers 4mm through 6mm magnets — useful as the cult grows into the Goliath Rockgrinder, Goliath Truck, and Iconward.

Glue. Maxi-Cure thick CA glue plus Insta-Set spray.

Polarity tool. Magnicator V2 keeps every Hybrid wrist socket aligned.
