The Monolith has four corner weapon mounts that can be built as gauss flux arcs or as death rays. Magnetizing the corner turrets lets you swap between the two profiles for any list. The Monolith No-Drill Custom Magnetization Kit ships with replacement parts pre-cut for magnets, so there is no drilling the GW corner pieces by hand.

Base to Case
To magnetize the base to a transport case, use 6mm x 2mm disc magnets. One magnet is enough if you remove the model from the base for transport, or three to four if you carry it on the base.
