What’s in the Leagues of Votann Combat Patrol

The Leagues of Votann Combat Patrol is the 10th-edition Warhammer 40,000 starter army for the Squat-descended Kindred. Nineteen miniatures and a pre-built Combat Patrol roster.

• 1x Ûthar the Destined (can also build as a Kâhl) — 40mm round base
• 5x Cthonian Beserks (one with mole grenade launcher) — 32mm round bases
• 3x Hernkyn Pioneers — 60mm round bases with flight stems

Ûthar the Destined / Kâhl

The kit is a dual-build — named character Ûthar the Destined (fixed loadout) or a generic Kâhl with multiple weapon options (rampart crest, mass hammer, plasma axe, autoch’tonic bolter, EtaCarn plasma pistol). Magnetize the wrist with 3mm x 2mm disc magnets so you can swap between the named character and the multi-option generic build.

Cthonian Beserks

The Cthonian Beserk kit builds five Beserks with mass hammers or concussion mauls, and one with the mole grenade launcher. Two of the five carry mole grenades. Magnetize wrists with 3mm x 2mm disc magnets if you want to swap between mass hammer and concussion maul squad-wide.

Hernkyn Pioneers

The Hernkyn Pioneers are three trike riders with options for the heavy weapon (HYLas rotary cannon, magna-rail rifle, ion beamer) and the pintle weapon (bolt shotgun or rotary autocannon). Magnetize the heavy-weapon mount with 5mm x 2mm disc magnets and the pintle with 3mm x 2mm so the squad can run any list-legal combination.

Hernkyn Pioneer Flight Stands

GW plastic flight stems on the trikes snap and yellow with age. Magnetic flight stands replace them with removable rods that lock the trike to its base with a magnet pair.

Hearthkyn Warriors

The Hearthkyn Warrior kit builds 10 models with bolt rifles, plus specialists with the heavy weapon (HYLas auto rifle, magna-rail rifle, EtaCarn plasma beamer, L7 missile launcher) and the squad leader (T’heolyn-pattern Hearthkyn Theyn). The kit is one of the most option-dense in the Votann range. Magnetize specialist shoulders with 3mm x 2mm disc magnets.

3mm magnets fit a 3mm drill bit hole. The Large Pin Vise covers 0.5mm to 8mm bits.
