Magnetize the Solar Auxilia Rapier Direct Fire Battery so each tracked carriage can switch between its Gravis Heavy Bolter battery, Gravis Multi-Laser array, and Laser Destroyer from one game to the next. Below are our magnet recommendations for the weapons, the bases, and where to find more Solar Auxilia guides.
Kit
This kit is built around modular weapons, and the parts have pre-existing holes that each fit a 5x2mm N52 disc magnet, so no drilling is needed. Each weapon assembly takes a pair and the gun-carriage pivot takes a pair; push each magnet in flush.

Full step-by-step magnetization instructions: Find Instructions Here.
Each Games Workshop boxed kit needs 16pcs 5x2mm N52 magnets to fully magnetize.
Polarity
Keeping the poles consistent matters with this many magnets. A Magnicator shows each magnet's polarity at a glance, so every weapon and the carriage pivot line up and nothing repels when you swap.

Base Magnets
The Rapier carriage sits on a 90x52.5mm oval base and the two crew on 25mm round bases. Add magnets so they stay put in a magnetic transport case.
Carriage (90x52.5mm oval)
Use a 6mm x 2.6mm Large Thick flush-fit magnet, or two 25mm peel-and-stick discs.

Crew (25mm round)
Bases with Magnets (25mm) are replacement bases that come with the magnets included; fix them with a little super glue. A 4.5mm x 2.2mm Medium flush-fit magnet or a 25mm peel-and-stick disc also work.
