The Rogal Dorn Battle Tank is one of the most weapon-flexible kits in the Astra Militarum range, and magnetizing it lets you switch between every loadout without committing glue to a single build. Below is a quick rundown of what the kit offers and how to plan your magnet placements.

Rogal Dorn Battle Tank Kit Overview
The Rogal Dorn sprues give you a wide spread of weapon choices on a single hull. Magnetizing the main turret, sponsons, hull mount, and commander cupola covers every viable build the kit can produce.
Main turret cannon: The kit lets you assemble either the twin-barrelled oppressor cannon or the castigator gatling cannon as the primary turret weapon. These are very different roles on the table - the oppressor cannon is your anti-armour and anti-elite option, while the castigator gatling cannon shreds infantry with high volume of fire. Magnets at the turret mantlet let you swap the entire barrel assembly between games.
Sponson weapons: Each side sponson can mount a heavy bolter, heavy flamer, or multi-melta. Magnetizing the sponson weapon stubs means you can mix and match for short-range overwatch (heavy flamers), anti-tank threat (multi-meltas), or general infantry suppression (heavy bolters) depending on the list.
Hull weapon: The front hull mount accepts a lascannon, twin heavy bolter, or autocannon. This is one of the most useful magnet points on the kit because the swap is fast and the choice changes the tank's secondary fire profile entirely.
Commander variant: The kit also builds the Rogal Dorn Commander with an open cupola and tank commander figure. Magnetizing the cupola hatch lets you run the same chassis as either the standard Rogal Dorn or the Commander variant without building two separate tanks.
