What’s in the Space Wolves Combat Patrol

The Space Wolves Combat Patrol is the 10th-edition Warhammer 40,000 starter army for the sons of Russ. Seventeen miniatures including the Invictor Warsuit centerpiece and a pre-built Combat Patrol roster.

Primaris Lieutenant

The Lieutenant kit builds with bolt rifle, master-crafted power weapon, plasma pistol, or alternate close-combat options. Magnetize wrists with 2mm x 1mm disc magnets to swap loadouts.

Invictor Tactical Warsuit

The Invictor Warsuit is the centerpiece of the box — see our dedicated Invictor Tactical Warsuit Magnetization Recommendations. The kit builds with a heavy bolter or twin ironhail autocannon for the main weapon and a fragstorm grenade launcher or twin ironhail heavy stubber on the carapace. Magnetize the main weapon arm with 5mm x 2mm disc magnets and the carapace mount with 3mm x 2mm.

Primaris Intercessors

The Intercessor squad runs 10 models with bolt rifle / auto bolt rifle / stalker bolt rifle and the Sergeant’s alternate weapons. See the dedicated Intercessor Squad Magnetization Recommendations. Magnetize the Sergeant’s wrists with 3mm x 2mm disc magnets.

3mm magnets fit a 3mm drill bit hole. The Large Pin Vise covers 0.5mm to 8mm bits.

Primaris Reivers / Hounds of Morkai

The Reiver kit is a Space Wolves dual-build — Primaris Reivers or Hounds of Morkai (Space Wolves-specific variant). Both share the same chassis, with combat knife and bolt carbine loadouts plus the Sergeant’s special options. Magnetize wrists with 2mm x 1mm disc magnets for the Sergeant if you want to swap close-combat weapons.

The Invictor Warsuit hardpoints are the centerpiece of the box’s magnetization work.

Drill bits. Medium metric bundle covers 4mm through 6mm magnets — useful for the Invictor heavy weapon and as the army grows into Thunderwolf Cavalry, Bjorn the Fell-Handed, and the Stormwolf.

Glue. Maxi-Cure thick CA glue plus Insta-Set spray.

Polarity tool. Magnicator V2 keeps the Invictor hardpoints and Intercessor wrist sockets aligned.
