Saturnine Dreadnought Magnetization Guide
The Magnet Baron's Saturnine dreadnought kit is designed to swap between the Ophion and Chiron configurations.

To track the polarity of the magnets, we use a set of Magnicator tools. We may refer to the polarity of the magnets as “red” or “blue,” after which Magnicator is attracted to that magnet’s surface.
A good practice to establish is to score the magnet surfaces. Rare-earth magnets come with a mirror-smooth coating that prevents proper adhesion with super glue. Use hobby files or sandpaper to remove the mirror-smooth coating so the glue can "bite" onto the magnet.
| Magnet List: Saturnine Dreadnought | Number of Magnets: |
| 5mm x 1mm | 16 |
| 5mm x 0.5mm | 4 |
| 3mm x 1mm | 8 |
| Step 1: Carapace Weapons | Number of Magnets |
| 3mm x 1mm | 8 |
The carapace-mounted heavy particle shredders are the simplest magnetization task on this model. These weapons mount onto the side of the dreadnought's chassis.
A simple trick I like to do when remembering to magnetize my weapons is that all of my weapons are red, since they all need to be "hot"!
With the red end of your Magnicator, insert a 3mm x 1mm magnet into each Heavy Partical Shredder, Photonic Incinerators, and Concussive Resonators. There is a hole on each side of the weapons, and that is where you will insert the 3mm x 1mm magnets.
On the body where the Heavy Partical Shredder, Photonic Incinerators, and Concussive Resonators are mounted, there is a matching hole where a 3mm x 1mm magnet will be glued into. Use the blue end of your magnicator to insert the magnet.
| Step 2: Main Weapons & Elbow | Number of Magnets: |
| 5mm x 1mm | 16 |
| 5mm x 0.5mm | 4 |
Do not fully assemble the weapon arm before magnetizing. You need access to both sides of the elbow joint. The elbow joint assembly has two hollow cavities that will be glued with the 5mm x 0.5 mm magnets.
At the top of the elbow and the bottom of the shoulder, there is a 5mm hole that is perfect for a 5mm x 1mm magnet to be glued to. This makes your weapons posable and swivle from left to right!
With the blue end of your Magnicator, glue the 5mm x 0.5mm magnets into the elbow joints. If you need to, use a toothpick or other non-metallic end to push the magnet fully into the hole. You can then glue the two halves together.
On every main weapon, there is a 5mm hole at the top on both sides. This is where you will glue a 5mm x 1mm magnet with the red end of your Magnicator.
Your Saturnine Dreadnought is now fully magnetized with interchangeable, poseable weapon systems. This magnetization investment provides maximum flexibility for different loadouts and display options while protecting your investment in this impressive model. The Magnicator from Magnet Baron has ensured consistent, reliable polarity throughout the build.
