Knight Destrier Magnetization Guide

Torso:

Glue the 12mm x 3mm countersunk ring magnet onto part 51.  Reinforce the joint with extra glue or putty.

Mate part 37 with part 51 from the previous step without gluing.  Place the 12mm spherical magnet inside part 37.  You will see the spherical magnet is attracted to the countersunk magnet.  Glue the spherical magnet in place.  Again, reinforce the joint if possible.

Bicep Parts:

Insert a 5mm by 2mm disk magnet into part H1, replacing parts 113 and 119.  Make note of the polarity of the magnet.  Here, we are using the blue end of the Magnicator.

Elbow Parts:

Insert an 8mm by 1mm disk magnet into parts 120, and 121 in the recessed area just below the top of the opening.  Make note of the polarity of the magnet.  Here, we are using the red end of the Magnicator.  These parts can be assembled ahead of time, as they will be put into the ranged weapons as whole parts.

Insert an 8mm by 1mm disk magnet into parts 114, and 115 in the recessed area just below the top of the opening.  Make note of the polarity of the magnet.  Here, we are using the red end of the Magnicator.  These parts should not be assembled until you are ready to assemble the melee weapons in step 19, as they grab the completed weapon at the same point as when the magnet is installed.  The following picture shows where the magnet will go and the polarity used.

Note on Weapon Options:

The current rules do not allow you to have multiple of the same weapon on at the same time.

The ranged weapons both have ammo boxes and other details which would change depending on which side they are put on.  Because the melee weapons do not have these details, being able to be put on either side, this enables you to field all legal combinations after choosing a side for each gun.

Choosing Gun A to be on the left side, and Gun B to be on the right, this picture illustrates all of the possible combinations.
