Exocrine & Haruspex Magnetization Guide
On the tabletop, the Exocrine and Haruspex are spoken of in hushed whispers and agonizing screams by both friend and foe. These literal monster units have long been a staple of any hive fleet wanting to the most of their forces. With our magnetization kit and this easy to follow guide, we ring the dinner bell for a veritable biomass buffet.
In this guide, you will be able to magnetize all weapon and head options.
You will need the following:
- Exocrine & Haruspex Magnetization Kit
- Needle File set
- Magnicator Tool
- Super Glue

Step 1:
When building the main body for the Exocrine / Haruspex, while following the instructions provided by with the model, stop at Step 1-B. You will take part 5 from the sprue and trim down the back of the part (which will be facing the interior of the main body).
Using your (Broad / Flat) needle file, score the side of the magnet that will be glued in place as well as the back of the part 5 until the file can sit flush and level.
Step 2:
Using the RED end of your Magnicator Tool, glue the 18 x 3mm disc on the back of Part 5, it should sit flush in the space you sanded with your file (pictured below).

BE ADVISED!!
the manual provided with the model has an error that instructs you to place the middle (non weapon) leg into the first shoulder socket. These legs (both sides) are meant to be placed into the 2nd shoulder socket (pictured below).
Step 3:
Using the BLUE end of your Magnicator Tool position one of the 5/16 countersunk magnets onto the interior of the 1st shoulder socket on both parts 3 and 4, using the rounded countersunk side as the contact of rhetorical socket interior (pictured below).

Once these steps are completed and the internal magnets are secured, complete the main body build as instructed by model manual.
Step 4:
With the main body now able to stand freely on its own, you will need to align the polarity of the two 8mm sphere magnets. Simply place the sphere magnets near the 1st shoulder socket, they will self-align to the internal countersunk magnet.
Step 5:
Using a needle file of your choice, lightly score the surface of the sphere magnet that faces outward from the socket.
Once you have built both sets of forearm weapons for your model, you will need to clip the rounded connection points on each arm. Using your hobby knife, trim the arm, lightly countersinking it to fit the 8mm sphere.
Glue the newly trimmed connection point of each arm, repeat Step 5 for all forearm weapons and their respective sphere magnets.

Step 6:
Exocrine Head - Once built, you need to lightly trim the interior of the neck, allowing the 8 x 3.5mm disc to sit within. Using the RED end of your Magnicator Tool, glue the 8 x 3.5mm disc into the neck of the Exocrine head.

Haruspex Head - Once the Haruspex head is built, using the RED end of your Magnicator Tool, glue the 8 x 3mm disc into the neck.
If done correctly, both heads will sit flush.

You have now fully built and magnetized the hungriest of boys in your Tyranid army and are ready to unleash this ravenous and terrifying menace to the tabletop.
