Brutalis Dreadnought Magnetization Guide

This guide covers every weapon swap on the Brutalis Dreadnought: the torso-mounted guns, the arms, and the swappable hands. The magnets are sized so each option seats flush in its socket. These steps require light drilling.

What You'll Need
- Brutalis Dreadnought Magnetization Kit
- Small Hand Drill
- 2mm Drill Bit
- Green Stuff
- Super Glue
Before You Start
Build the body up to the arm options. Leave pieces 19 and 20 unglued and out of the torso for now.
Magnetizing the Torso Weapons
Magnets used in this section: 6x 2mm x 1mm.
Step 1:
Drill a 2mm hole into the back of pieces 19 and 20, where the weapon sits flush. Glue a 2mm x 1mm magnet into each hole.
Step 2:
Drill a 2mm hole into the back of each weapon option, on the face that sits flush against its matching piece 19 or 20. Glue a 2mm x 1mm magnet into each weapon.
Step 3:
To fit pieces 19 and 20 into the torso, rotate each so the back faces you, insert it into the groove, then rotate it forward.
Magnetizing the Arms and Hands
Magnets used in this section: 8x 3mm x 1mm, 4x 2mm x 2mm, and 12x 2mm x 1mm.
Step 4 (Forearms):
Do not glue pieces 74 and 75 together. On piece 75, find the two holes in the middle. Using a 2mm bit, drill those holes deeper without going all the way through, so the magnets connect better. Glue a 2mm x 2mm magnet into each hole, noting the polarity. On the top side, seat two 3mm x 1mm magnets and let them find their position.
Step 5:
For pieces 106 and 108, apply a small amount of Green Stuff to the inside of each part, then set it onto its matching piece: 75 to 106, and 74 to 108. The Green Stuff acts as a catch and helps align the 3mm x 1mm magnets.
Step 6 (Gun arms):
For the gun arms (pieces 90 to 95, and 96 to 101), seat two 3mm x 1mm magnets the same way. These pieces already have two holes on the inside. Add Green Stuff into those openings, push the pieces into place, and let the magnets settle into the Green Stuff.
Step 7 (Hands):
After assembling each hand, do not glue it to its arm. The right arm is piece 76 and the left arm is piece 86.
Step 8:
On the top of the wrist, drill and seat a 2mm x 1mm magnet above the top-most and bottom-most fingers. Overdrill slightly so each magnet sinks deeper into the wrist.
Step 9:
On each hand, drill two holes at the top-most and bottom-most fingers where they meet the wrist, and glue a 2mm x 1mm magnet into each. The push-fit holds the hand to the wrist, and the magnets keep it secure through repeated handling and play. Repeat for each hand option so the fists and talons stay swappable.
