The Cogfort is a walking Cities of Sigmar fortress that builds one of two ways from the box: the Cannonade with its godbreaker cannon, or the Conqueror with the realmscorcher flame cannon and an infantry transport hold. Commit the glue to one build and the other loadout is gone for good. This kit magnetizes the swap points so a single painted model can field either pattern from one game to the next.
Cogfort N52 Magnetization Kit
The kit turns the upper-deck main weapon into a drop-in swap, so the godbreaker cannon and the realmscorcher flame cannon share one mount. The front cannonade insert and its gun push-fit into the hull face for a clean changeover, the upper-deck ammunition racks lift away, and the flame cannon bellows chain comes off when you switch to the Cannonade. Build the roof unglued and you can reach every swap point without prying the model apart. This is a drill-and-modify conversion rather than a no-drill kit, so plan for some material removal along the way.
You will want a large pin vise for the 6mm drilling, a metric bit set covering 2mm through 6mm, and the Magnicator to keep magnet polarity straight before each magnet is glued.
Full step-by-step photos are in the Cogfort magnetization guide.
Base Magnets for the Cogfort
The Cogfort sits on a 160mm round base. If you carry it in a steel-lined case, two options hold a centerpiece this heavy without a wobble.
Flush-fit
3 6mm x 2mm disc magnets will hold the base, scuff the magnets and ensure you have N52 Neodymium magnets. If you don’t know the grade, they are likely N35 and “technically” magnetic.
This is the firmest hold for the weight.
