These incredible magnets are great for anything that you would use Velcro, brass fasteners, hinges, pins, etc. My clients range from craft companies to hobbyists to painters to carpenters to purse makers. These little magnets have MILLIONS of applications.

Diametrically magnetized means the poles run across the diameter, not face to face. That makes the magnetic field rotate as the magnet spins on a shaft, which is what hall-effect rotary sensors and magnetic encoders need to read position. AS5048 and AS5600 magnetic encoders, BLDC motor builds, and BTT-style filament motion sensors all spec a diametrically magnetized 6x3 ring on the shaft. The 6mm bore fits a standard M6 motor shaft with a press fit. Not a craft magnet, this is for the makers and engineers.

WARNING! These magnets should be kept away from any animal or human who might try and eat them, they have the potential to separate and pinch intestines causing serious and life threatening complications.

BRITTLE! These magnets are more brittle than glass, please make sure you don't let them slam into each other or drop onto the floor, they WILL break and I will be sad for you.
